Such an excellent article. The math obsession is weird in this industry. A friend of mine at Amazon barely uses any math beyond the basics. I myself received backlash and hate for my article saying that you do not need math at all for web and app development which is a million times more obvious. The time you spend learning calculus, trig, geometry, etc will only slow you down. Such time can be better spent on learning new frameworks, testing, learning customer behaviour, etc. It is this lame old approach of theory obsession that make bootcamp graduates ahead of computer science graduates. Theory is overrated in this field.
